We collect your email address and the race data you enter. We use it only to run the app. We don't sell it, share it with advertisers, or do anything weird with it. You can delete your account and all your data at any time.
Account data: When you sign up, we collect your email address and the username you choose.
Race data: Everything you log in the app — race names, dates, distances, finish times, pace, placement, location, terrain, and any notes you add. This is the whole point of the app.
Waitlist data: If you joined the waitlist before getting access, we stored your email address for that purpose only.
We don't use analytics trackers, ad networks, or any third-party JavaScript beyond what's listed in this policy. We don't collect IP addresses, browser fingerprints, or behavioral data.
Your data is used for exactly one purpose: making the app work for you. Specifically:

Your data is stored in Supabase, a hosted database platform. Supabase stores data on AWS infrastructure. You can read about their security practices at supabase.com/security.
Authentication (your email/password login) is handled by Supabase Auth, which stores passwords as secure hashes — we never see your actual password.
We take reasonable precautions to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure. We recommend using a unique password for your account.

The app uses a session cookie to keep you logged in. That's it — no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies. The session cookie is essential for the app to function and is cleared when you sign out.
Michele's Race Log is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we'll delete it.
If we make meaningful changes to this privacy policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page and do our best to notify you by email. We won't make changes that reduce your rights without clear notice.
